libjcode-pm-perl software package provides Perl extension interface to convert Japanese text, you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libjcode-pm-perl
libjcode-pm-perl is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libjcode-pm-perl package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libjcode-pm-perl *
You will get with libjcode-pm-perl package name, version, architecture and description in a table
